I'm by no means an expert but I'd like to have a vintage Dual Showman amp, Echoplex, vintage reverb tank & American Jazzmaster in white with tortise pick guard, Jaguar, sunburst & Strat, surf green with maple neck. Last edited: Aug 29, 2006 21:36:55 |

Yeah, Dave's rig would do it for me. Anyways I would have an A/B setup to switch between amps as well. So what is going into the A/B would be a Fender Jaguar into two Boss TU-2s. One to have on all the time and one to kill the signal. Amp 1- Fender Showman with 15" tone ring cab <--Fender reverb unit Amp 2- Fender 64 Vibroverb(15" speaker of course) on Vibrato channel<-- Fender Reverb Unit <-- Echoplex copy <-- Line 6 DL4(backwards echo is sweet and perfect) Also I would have a studio set of amps consisting of BF AND SF Super Reverbs, a '63 RI Vibroverb, BF Bandmaster, BF Tremolux, BF Bassman, Dual Professional, Vibro-King, and maybe a Vibrolux. Also studio guitars would include, a Jazzmaster, all Gretsches, Vintage Epiphone Casino, Telecasters, and some Gibsons and vintage Epiphones because they are pretty. |

I'll take Ivan's rig, thank you very much!!! Or I would settle for Dave Wronski's rig if I really had to. Bob S. —Bob |

I'll take Wronski's rig too... but the problem is, it would take me about a month to figure out how to wire it and what all the little gizmos and gadgets do. Honestly, I couldn't be happier with the rig I have - Dual Showman (with a 2x15, using one D130 and one D140) <-- Vintage Fender Tank <-- Overdrive <-- Fuzz <-- Mosrite You could probably substitute either my Jag or Jazzmaster, and I'd be just about as happy. ~B~ |

it looks like this (pedalboard might be wirde a bit different, but this is what it looks like. I bet the colorsound is wired true bypass, and the keeley box is there to get the boss's buffer circuit out of the signal path, I think I read somewhere that DW uses some kind of guitarstrap-attached pre-amp to drive the long cables) : jag => into Keely true bypass looper used as A/B box one goin'in to the tuner (dead end), the other into a colorsound tremolo (continues) => A/B splitter, one side into tank - Slacktone amp, the other side into echoplex => tank => bassman. the only effects that need dialing in are two tanks, the echoplex and a two knob tremolo. the only buttons to hit are tuner path/mainpath, tromolo on off and echoplex on off. anyway, seems not that much more complicated then your rig Bill WR —Rules to live by #314: |

spot on, I could have Ivan's and Dave's rig, and all of his other goodies http://home.earthlink.net/~cynfile/WronskiGear.html ... and unfortunatly, I'd still sound like me WR —Rules to live by #314: |
