Man I wish this band would come to the US!
If I had the money I'd go to Europe to hear them. I'm glad to hear that they're working again, though. I hope the arrangements aren't too lush. For my money they tend to go overboard in that line given half a chance. It gets a little too sweet.

It's interesting to me to watch how Dalibor and Dinko divide the guitar chores between them--something I can't tell from the CDs. I don't know of another band besides Television where two leads could mesh and intertwine like that.
Going back to the thread with Ivan that Danny posted---where "The Strange" was brought up---I would really like to get hold of a copy of "The Nights of Forgotten Films". I really like the couple of vocal numbers the Bambi Molesters have. (I did download the two mps3s from the website.)

Check out the Volcanos from Detroit. Live, they interweave the lead guitar parts between Rick and Chris. It is so fun to watch.

I sold a copy to KenpoSurf about a month ago, he was going to put it on EBay, maybe PM him to see if he still has it. I didn't care for the vocals on it at all.

I didn't care for any of the vocals on the Bambi Molesters or the Strange clips I listened to either.

OK! Thanks for the lead. I'm probably in the minority on the vocal material, but I like to hear how the musicians play behind the vocalist. VERY tasty!

Really, I'm not all that fussy about vocals, but these make me incredibly restless.

har har.
I need to clarify---It's on "The Strange" website that the band makes two sample mp3s available for download. All on the up and up.

I wouldn't say that the singer is an amazing singer, or even good.
but I can sit thru the songs without skipping them.
they have a kinda loungy vibe to them.

Welcome EspressoFrog,
check out our podcast #2 for a unreleased Bambi Molesters song that they wrote for a film soundtrack. Dalibor pops up on here from time to time, here's a thread Ivan Pongracic started about meeting him:
Oh sweet, thanks for the welcome and the thread is awesome.

thanks Crumble,

the 3rd song is Restless from the 13 sonic bullets cd.
Their friend Chris sang on the cd. But He must not have been available for the show. So Dalibor sang it.

sorry my bad,
I knew it was a Newer song.
Chris Eckman sang a song on the 13 bullets cd,
so when they rerecorded the DLHT cd, they added that song to it as a bonus cut.

Thanks for the link Crumble!
Restless is an old (1960?) Johnny Kidd & The Pirates song.
