Lookin to start something in RI
No party animals and no full schedules. If you don't have the time don't waste mine.

Why don't you be a little more specific about what you want to do, you may be get some helpful feedback. Plus, If I were a musician looking to join, I'd find the tone of your post somewhat off putting.

Laughing I was gonna say the same thing. Seems like a fun guy to be in a band with!

Science friction burns my fingers.

What if you spend all your spare time being a party animal?....I guess that two strikes.

That posting does have a definite air of doucebaggery..

Now now, I am sure RI is simply crawling with sober, serious, god-fearing musicians willing to dedicate all their available time to the lucrative and distinguished task of playing in a surf band.

...touche

RI is a a different kind o cat than CA Guys

I live in CT... not far from RI.. and I am not a douche.

This is gonna be great....

What? The message board argument that is about to begin, or this guy's potential band? Heh.

What a coincidence! I think this is the same guy with the sweet looking SGV I saw for sale yesterday!

Please, Please, I beg you, dont waste this guys time!

I would personally be afraid to waste that guys time. One could probably catch a nasty disease from a creature such as himself - (him? I guess.) He looks like he could employ severe noise torture with that guitar.

Tonettit's picture looks like he has severe pink eye, and a guitar growing out of his abdomen.

I also like to think that all early 60's fender equipment is happy to be playing surf music again. After all, its the music it was meant to play.

Can we give the thread back to waveman3d now please?

I think we have had our fun. Sure, no problem. I know it can be a challenge to find good musicians who share the same passion you have for Surf music. I myself have not been able to find any one even remotely familiar with Surf music in my area.

Is the 'party animal' guy in the photo attempting to beat his very own crotch into submission with a guitar? What a waste of time!

Yes indeed he is, these guys from RI are just "a different kind o cat"

Apparently we have not had our fun yet. Twisted Evil

There seems to be a lack of Surf guitarists without bands. That's why I have other favorite genres.
