Doug, I think dboomer is a drummer looking for players. —Danny Snyder Playing keys and guitar with Combo Tezeta Formerly a guitarist in The TomorrowMen and Meshugga Beach Party Latest surf project - Now That's What I Call SURF |

Yes Danny, I understand. I was checking to see if dboomer is indeed Tony Cicero of Ventura's Phantom Riders, because I am shocked to find another musician in this town that plays surf music. Other than the PRs, I thought I was alone here. Anyway I'd be happy to supply the guitar and I can drag along a sax player, as long as I don't need a Showman to be heard. |

Given that the ratio of surf guitarists to surf drummers is 100 to 1, you should be able to have your choice of players. Good luck with the new band (and welcome to SG101!) —Buy Speed of Dark @ Bandcamp |

Nope ... I'm not Tony and actually I'm not in Ventura ... Port Hueneme really. So you think there are 100 surf guitarists around here Are there any surf bands in the Ventura/Oxnard area? Venues? Hook me up |

Man, I should move to Ventura! Then I'd be the one surf bassist...cool! Or Maybe should move to Lompoc and start a bad-ass space-surf combo: "The Vandenbergs"...what do you think stormtiger, you in? |

BLAST OFF! I'm your man dp. However, Sam Bolle lives in Ventura so you'll have to be the other surf bassist. |

That guy gets all the good gigs. I'd love to collaborate with you dp, the bass on Qandahar and Penetration sounds awesome. That is a very cool version of Penetration on the 2008 compilation. |
