I like the title of track #4. It's good to know that I'm not the only one afflicted with random 70's commercial jingles. — |

I love the song titles as well. Hank Scorpio, the world's best boss that just happens to be the world's greatest super villain, gotta love that. —Site dude - S3 Agent #202 "It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea |

Thank god someone else gets it..... I feel sane again, thanks norcalhodad! That song has been haunting me my whole life. I felt by making it into a song title it would help relieve it's grip upon me. But no one else knew what it was which only severed to help it haunt me more......phewwwww...I can go back off the pills again!

I've had my copy for a week now and I still can't stop playing it every chance I get! What an adventurous cd! Nice job all around. Wow! Your playing is spectacular and every song (all but one are original) is amazing. The one cover of "Sabre Dance" is incredible. I've always like this song a lot, and I was kind of disappointed with the version that Brian Setzer Orchestra did last year. Compared with Dave Edmunds, BSO's version is kind of lame. Well, Atomic Mosquitos blow BSO's cover right out of the water -- literally! I shouldn't focus on one cover, because the originals are so good. If you listen to my show very much, then you know how much I love what the Madeira are doing. For some reason, and I'm not sure why, "Meltdown" reminds me very much of the Madeira, although they aren't copying anything. Maybe it's that the adventure, visual imagery and great songwriting that is so prevalent in the Madeira's work is also in "Meltdown." Believe me, the comparison is one of the best compliments I can give! Thanks Atomic Mosquitos for doing what you're doing! Now we need to figure out a way to get you to invade Cleveland! |

Thanks for the far to kind words Tom, and the Madeira comparison is one of the nicest compliments you could have given us. We just did a mini tour with those guys and they are as fine a people as they are a band. Top notch all the way. Glad you enjoyed it so much it makes all the hard work worth it. Cheers, Sean

I have listened one time through. These guys just get better and better. Really. The sound of this one much more aggressive, clearly in the neighborhood of The Nebulas. I just imagine the floor of the recording studio littered with melted and shredded picks. This one is not going to leave my stereo for a long time. —Buy Speed of Dark @ Bandcamp |
