Can anyone help a newbie struggling to add to an already limited repertoire? Have got this track mostly figured out apart from the riff immediately after the sax break and all the tab have found seems wildly inaccurate all help gratefully appreciated ![Smile Smile](/media/smiley/images/icon_smile.gif)

I don't know if you have seen the official Dick Dale book. Honestly it is a must in any budding surf guitar players library. The transcriptions may not be perfect, but they are really good. The song you seek is in the book. Look on ebay and score it for real cheap.

Edit - I redid this for the key of E. When I transcribed it yesterday, the recording I was listening to was in F. Maybe the recording has been sped up.
He's sliding from A to B (3rd string 2nd fret to 4th fret) followed by an upward stroke on E and B (1st and 2nd string open fret. Do that 3 times, followed by another slide from A to B but then instead of the E and B notes, slide back down to A from B, pick the G (3rd string open fret, then pick the E at the 2nd fret on the 4th string.
For the next part, bnd the A (2nd fret 3rd string) almost to B and repeatedly hit the bend A and B (2nd string) The last 4 notes are the bent A on the 3rd string released back to A, G (3rd string, open fret), and E (4th string 2rd fret).
And that's how I hear it ![Embarassed Embarassed](/media/smiley/images/icon_redface.gif)
