I have a special deal on the White or Black Wilson Bros The Ventures VM65 model guitars. They have Agathis bodies, maple necks and rosewood fingerboards. The VM65s have a strat style trem and 2 P-90 pickups.

Full 1 year warranty Gigbag included. List is $699 but because you saw it here at Surf Guitar 101...
$475 shipping in the USA included.

There is Surf east of Sepulveda.

Hey Fripp...I hear Mosrite don't do heavy gauge strings very well. Do you know if these can handle 12 gauges? can the neck handle it. Thanks

These guitars are happier with 11's or 10's.

I've had two of them and properly set up they sound good. I didn't care for the wide, flat Gibson-ish neck profiles they have, though.

Aside from some similarity looks-wise, the Wilson Bros. VM-65 and 75 have NOTHING in common with a real Mosrite from a playing or sound standpoint.

The best tone I got was with DR Pure Blues 11-50 nickel roundwounds. You'll probably need to tweak the truss rod a bit with 11's.
