I was reading on the internet about a band, called "The 13 Ghosts", who apparently do surf instro covers of Misfits songs. Coincidentally, I have the Agent Orange 7" where they give their own songs the surf treatment, and it isn't bad.
I couldn't find anything else out about "The 13 Ghosts" on the internet or where to get any of their stuff.
Anyone listened to them ? Are they any good ?

I used to have a burned CD of most of their stuff; they were pretty good. But yeah, check out the Crimson Ghosts. I just saw them on Saturday, and they put on a good show. Nice guys, too.

13 Ghosts did become The Crimson Ghosts. It's a rotating cast of characters with a guy named John Kozik at the core. He's in several other bands and he and Gein (Gein and The Graverobbers) had a project going for a while. 13 Ghosts started out as a totally different band which John joined. When the last original member left, John changed the name. I've met John a couple of times and even booked him at one of the local clubs once. I really dig all the horror surf stuff and have a special attachment to the first 13 Ghosts LP of all the Misfits covers.
Actually, I just went to the myspace page and apparently Gein is still playing drums for the Ghosts.

Yep, Crimson Ghosts. There's also another band called 13 ghosts that doesn't have a hint of surf, so watch out

There is a horror-rock band who call themselves The Crimson Ghosts as well. I think they're from Germany.
