I somehow stumbled upon an MP3 of the above song as played by the band 'King Charles' Head'. I think they're dutch. I think it's a very cool song, anyone familiar with it? Is it a cover or did they write it?

Jeff, if you have the CD, see if it says whether it's an original of theirs or not.
Thanks,

Danny,
the thing that sucks is, I believe it's a 2 fer on Kamikazee, and the first band is listed on one side of the cd, and they on the other side. So I gotta figure out who they are on the 2 fer with.
sorry for the dealy.

The Kamikaze "2 fer" is with Germany's "Way out West"
Ghostriders on a surfboard is written by Rens van Onna
the lead guitar player. The date on the liner notes says
recorded in September 1999 (6 out of the 14 songs were
written or adapted by King Charles Head)

Thanks Trode, the song was familiar to me, but I wasn't sure if that was the version I originally heard. Now I know. I just love how the break in the middle of the songs devolves in a jazzy way - really, it's quite cool and original.
