I dont think these are exactly right or maybe the song is played in dropped D because when i play along it doesnt sound right half the time. Thanks for looking though. If anyone actually plays the song and knows if its dropped D or if there are better tabs out there let me know.

Use your ears, not your eyes!
I prefer Pepsi over Tab, but, if your gonna go for Tab, at least try to realize the tune might be at a slightly different pitch when it's recorded.

Don't know if you play out or not, but when you learn a song by ear, you are slowly memorizing the song...then when you play it live....or do you bring your big book of tabs to the club?

This is a great tune. I learned the lead part mostly from watching videos on YouTube -- there are lots of different samples available. I found two guitar tabs and both are wrong to one extent or another. If I get ambitious, I'll post a corrected version.

Excellent work Woodsurfer. This is one of THE BEST surf tunes ever written IMO.
Thanks for posting the tabs.... correct ones at that. I'll bet many of the members here can make good use of them.

Great stuff...and thanks for introducing me to the tune.
I found this great U-tube of a guy showing how to play it that fills a few blanks...nice work and sound...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5YWyQ5EZhgU&feature=related

I'm confused how it was ambition then. You didn't tab the song out. You just copy and pasted something.

May look that way but I actually corrected a bunch of mistakes.
