Smile Could I submit Guitar Tabs using a Software called Power Tab editor? Its basically like guitar pro, you have a stave w/the Tablature and it can play back what has been tabbed. Its pretty cool, it helps me understand music notation. But I guess who ever wants to use it needs to DL it, but its completely free.

The Deadbeats

Does it export to pdf? That would be more widely usable to everyone.

Smile Brian I have no Idea what that is. But if you'd like to, go here http://www.download.com/Power-Tab-Editor/3000-2133_4-10502034.html?tag=lst-1&cdlPid=10502035 and install. I have a couple of songs that I have tabbed, includng surf tunes. If your interested and u wanna use this program and check it out I have tabbed "KungBaoSurf" by "the Reluctant Aquanauts". Just let me know. Cool But I have to eMail you that file of the Tab.

The Deadbeats

Abraham,

Brian created a Tablature section under the Downloads Main Menu heading.

This section contains tabs that are saved under the .PDF file format. If you click on the first one, Apache, you will see what it looks like.

Most of these tabs were done on Guitar Pro. Using GP, you can select File and then Export, employing different file formats such as MIDI and PDF. The PDF is basically just a picture of what you composed on Guitar Pro.

I don't know whether Power Tab has this capability, but that is what Brian is asking you.

Paul

Paul

The export options for PowerTab are MIDI, ASCII, and HTML. The HTML option works really well.

I'd be happy to convert the HTML file to PDF for you.

Don

Smile Ok, so what should I do?

The Deadbeats

Abraham, I PM'd you some quickie instructions...

Don

I would accept HTML or ASCII as well.
