Permalink Agent Orange's "This Is The Voice" Problem

New Topic

OK. Not strictly a surf music related question, but I'm having an issue with one of my Agent Orange CDs.

Agent Orange's "This Is The Voice" CD plays really, really softly once transferred to my iPod.

a) Has anyone else experienced this issue?

b) Does anyone know if the same versions of these songs on the Sonic Snake Sessions CD are louder?

Also, can someone please tell me the name of Mike's traditional surf band side project. I recall it is some kind of old car but I don't remember the name.

Thanks.

Sean

The Deoras.

Weird about the CD!

It sounds like what happens when two channels cancel each other. Is there some kind of conversion taking place to get it to the i-pod?

Actually, I misspoke in suggesting it had to do with the iPod. The CD itself plays softly too. It is just that I never listen to the CD anymore now that I've moved the tracks onto the iPod. When you turn up the volume as loud as you can go, it sounds like it is about a third of the way up on a typical track.

And thanks JetBlue for the Deoras.
