Jorge, an AWESOME show!! Really, really enjoyed it! A great selection of less-than-usual material. And thanks so much for including Zanzibar - loved hearing that right after Santo & Johnny's Deep Purple - what a great song, what an honor! Though I didn't think I would, I greatly dug the waves gently rolling through all the songs. Nicely done. Also enjoyed hearing the Threesome song, whose album I still don't have - reminded me a bit of the Mermen, actually.
Anyway, thanks again! A fantastic podcast!

They did a killer version of "Lucifer Sam" that I played on RFB 270 & two of their originals on RFBs 255 & 261. They also recorded a tune a few years ago inspired by one of the RFB models called "Beautiful Girl on the Radio" that I haven't played in just less than a few years ago...

Finally got the chance to catch up on 273, 274. Muy Bien, mi amigo!
Love the power of a great story teller in those county'ish tunes. Lotsa good ones in that set. Reminds me of the delightful surprise I had several years ago when I discovered Justin Townes Earl - had no idea about him when I saw him open for Dan Auerbach (solo album tour). Highly recommend this JTE show of his for anyone who dug RFB273:
