The vinyl single was great, but the full new Trashmen album is really a blast! All hits, no misses, instrumentals, surfing bird style vocals and some Deke 'Untamed Youth' melodic vocals.
Got it at the Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend, were the Trashmen played at the carshow and did a surprise set during Eddy Angels 2nd poolparty show. Man, that one was so cool, even Danny Amis was on stage for some songs... not at the same time as the Trashmen though.

Unfortunately, my record player is currently on the fritz so I can't listen to most of these! I've had the mp3s of the amazing El Ray release for quite a while already, and I've been listening to a LOT of the Kilaueas CD, which is also GREAT! Such cool stuff!

Wow, that's a killer thrift store find! I was doing a thrift store record run the other day and was driven insane by a Squiddly Diddly's Surfin' Safari cover... with no record inside. Turned the entire section upside down but no luck.

The A-Side is vocal garage and the flip side are two instrumentals(Galaxy of Terror / Buzz Saw) in their actual style - no surf. "Buzz Saw" is a cover version of the old Gee Cees tune "Buzz Saw Twist". Here's a video of "Buzz Saw" that Carlos Yela made in Valencia.
