Sunday, July 6th The Secret Samurai, The Sand Devils, and the Surf Kings will be playing The Bar Leucadian in Encinitas (San Diego) CA. The Secret Samurai will play 4:00pm - 4:50, The Sand Devils: 5:10 - 6:00, and The Surf Kings will close out the set from 6:20 to about 8:00. Come out and help us blow the roof off The Bar Leucadian!!

I'm gonna try to get a bunch of people from LA and OC down for this.
maybe a car pool caravan.
3 stellar bands, this is not to miss.

pretty good turnout yesterday afternoon.
all 3 bands played amazing.
even with the Surf Kings, without having a rehearsal with the old band members.

I took some pics.
hopefully I can figure out how to download and post them soon.

Thanks for making the trek down to see the show Jeff.
We had a blast! We played a relatively quick set to kick things off and besides a few incredibly annoying hand cramps, the set went pretty well.

I loved seeing the Sand Devils again! They played great and hopefully their CD will be available soon.

The Surf Kings played well especially since they had some recent personnel changes and little to no rehearsal, so kudos to them!

It was great seeing BTD, Kristena, Marty, Doug, Ran, Hans and Ben again. I also got a chance to meet NeedsMoreReverb from sg101!

Thanks Hans for organizing this event. It went really really well. Hopefully we can do it again soon!

It's hearing about shows like this that make me sorry to have left San Diego County. Now I'm in a rich little wine resort without anything in the way of surf music!

A pleasure meeting you Ruhar, you guys ripped it up. Of course the Sand Devils and the Surf Kings were fantastic as well. Great shows with lots of energy and enthusiasm by all three bands. Good crowd in a small location, hopefully it gave them the kind of business they wanted for the night.
