The Madeira will be playing the Carpe Noctem CD release show at the Melody Inn this Friday, June 27th (along with Frankie Camaro's surfy new band Atomic Bombay). We'll be featuring a ton of songs off the new album, which we'll have for sale (as well as the new t-shirts). Come out and have yourself a great time! (The plan is that we'll go on third, but this is subject to change).

CD RELEASE SHOW
FRIDAY, JUNE 27th @ THE MELODY INN
(3826 N. Illinois Street, Indianapolis, IN)
w/ATOMIC BOMBAY, RECKLESS EDWARD, THE MELISMATICS
21+ 9:30 p.m.

My daughter, Kelsey, and I will be there!!!! I'll be wearing my new blue Hawaiian shirt over my Eliminators T-shirt. One cannot miss a Madeira show!!! This will be a good time. Already have Carpe Noctem (GREAT) but I do not have a Madeira T-shirt YET!! See you tonight.

Well, we had a great time, played a rockin' set and sold a ton of merch, including many copies of our new CD. Unfortunately, it seemed like the world was coming to an end that evening (a common occurence prior to Madeira shows), with heavy storms, hail, flash floods, tornado touchdowns, etc. in the area, which I think may have prevented some people from coming out. I don't think I saw you, Bill, or your daughter there - too bad. But there was still a very good turnout and we're pleased with how the evening turned out. Midwest Surf Guy was there (video taping the proceedings), as was his fellow Cincinnatti surf music afficianado and co-promoter Don. Brandonio from SG101 was there, too. It was great to see them again.

Check this out: unbeknownst to us prior to the show, we were recommended as the fourth best music event of the week by an Indy entertainment website, right under the Steve Miller Band! Check it out: http://www.indy.com/posts/9286 Cool!

Congratulations on an outstanding show! After review, The Madeira show ranks #1 - not #4. Shoot, one of the Steve Miller Band guitarists came to the Melody to participate in the fun!!! We were sitting in the third booth on the south side of the room and had a great view of the show. Said hello to Midwest Surf Guy. To show my age, I had one Bud and three cups of coffee while there. I didn't get to sleep until almost 4:00am. Actually I was re listening to the night's music from Carpe Noctem. The show was great and the band members are very friendly and engaging. We will continue to follow the band. I need to get my ticket to LAX!!!! THANKS!!!

Thanks, Bill! Glad to hear you made it there, I wasn't sure. I'm sorry I missed you, though. I didn't notice anyone in an Eliminators t-shirt.

I think the band before us was joking about that. I don't think he was actually from the Steve Miller Band. Unless you know something I don't....

Still before me, believe it or not. That damn adrenaline.... To make it more painful, we were practicing for our CA tour the next morning at 10 am. Yea, that was an energetic practice...

Now, THAT is dedication! Impressive.

The show was great and the band members are very friendly and engaging. We will continue to follow the band. I need to get my ticket to LAX!!!! THANKS!!!

Thank YOU! And yes, you gotta get down to SoCal in early August - not just for us, but for all the other amazing bands and festivities that will be going on! It will be epic. Don't miss it!
