I have decided to post some of my "fan pictures" from the 2008 CLARKSTON SURF FEST from May 31, 2008.
I am editing them on the fly, and will cover all bands through EL CAPITAN and THEE SCALLYWAGS (as I had to leave to catch a flight to L.A.X. for the next day's events in HUNTINGTON BEACH)
As I have before, I will drop in 5 pictures of each band
At some point in the near future, if people seem interested, I will post some more
so keep checking back to this thread if you wish to see the photographs
and I do this for my love of all that is surf

It looks like you raised the contrast or brightness in post-productions as two of the pictures look washed out.

thx for the comment Jake; I am doing my best with what I have to work with, as the sun was intense and that caused some of the shots on stage (where the sunny background shows) to be somewhat problematic for me
but hey, remember, these are "fan" photos; I ain't claiming to call them anything more than that
hope people can get a small sense of how great these bands performances were
I digress....sorry

Thanks for posting these Freddie!! It was a great day indeed!
I really loved hanging out with everyone and meeting those from out of town that I had not met before! BIG BIG thanks to Eddie Katcher and Wayne Foster!! Those guys work their ASSES off for all of this, and it really pays off.
