Ivan,
Sorry we missed the gig. Joe and I were trying to make it, but at the last minute I ended up on baby duty. We've played with both bands a few times, lots of fun. The squites are always high energy, and only get better. Tritons have a neat presence, but do have a habit of not checking their watches...

Ivan, Thank you for the kind words and praise. We really had a great time playing with you guys and the Atomic Mosquitos and the Nebulas. You guys really tore the roof off Otto's. Two amazing nights in a row!

Thanks so much, Viktor! I'm just glad that we played both nights BEFORE you guys. Laughing It was really a pleasure to play with you and get to know you all. I think you're among the very best bands playing surf music today! Such power AND musicianship AND songs! A staggering amount of talent between the four of you.

All the bands at Otto's really excelled ( all those surf bands, and not one version of Mr. Moto! - fantastic ).

HAHAHHAHAAAA!!

Both Madeira albums are phenomenal, and the new one sets a pretty high standard.

Thanks very much again, Viktor! And I'd like to return the favor and say that I've been listening to your full-length pretty much non-stop since our shows together! Awesome stuff! Spinning vinyl is a bit less convenient than just popping the CD in the car stereo (which is where it's been lodged for the last four weeks), but I love your two 7"s, too, especially "But First...Tranya", a mind-blowing track!

Folks, do yourselves a favor and check out the Coffin Daggers:

I think their CD is pretty much out of print - though they do sell CD-R copies at shows. But I think it might be available for download through iTunes. Check out some samples here: http://cdbaby.com/cd/coffindaggers

I really hope you guys come this way again.

Thanks, I hope so, too. We had an unforgettable time. And of course, please let us know when you're coming through Indiana again! I'd love to play a show with you again.

Best,
Ivan

Hey Art!

Damn babies! Twisted Evil Just kidding, just kidding. Seriously, I'm sorry I didn't get to see you, but it was really nice to meet Joe and talk to him for a while. I'm really looking forrward the Reverb Galaxy CD! I hope it's not too much longer before it's out.

Laughing Ah, so, they have a reputation.... I agree as far as the Mosquitos, as much as I liked their CDs, especially their second one, live they sounded even better. If they can capture that on CD, the next one will be incredible! Again, such great and talented people, it was a real joy to be able to play with them all three nights. Maybe with the Reverb Galaxy the next time.... Wink

Thanks!
Ivan
