The first mod I did was put a big Murphy sticker on the side facing the audience. Itâs very much like a Fender. Like a vintage one. Handwired et al. It changes with the 6k6 I put in. Unfortunately it was in bad condition and when the last play head quit service, and my amp tech said he canât get replacements, I just left it at his shop. Today i often wish i kept it, also for the great Telefunken tubes I had put in. Crazy, but that was long before the internet and all the auctions going on today.
