Can anyone recommend any recent surf podcasts. I have the SG101 podcast and I hope it will return soon. Thanks.

at one time TWANG SHEBANG and YourSpace Radio were BOTH podcast but the powers-that-be at www.myrealbroadcast.com decided a while ago to discontinue that practice UNSTEADY FREDDIE — |

GaragePunk has a pretty decent SurfCast that comes out periodically. —

Check out either Surf's Up HoDaddys or Coconut Wired. Also, for other internet provided surf content you can get some good stuff at Pandora.com by putting in something like Dick Dale to work a playlist around. |

The main surf shows I listen to are Kowabunga on XM53 and Wax your Woodie on XM6. Wax only plays '60s surf and beach music. Lou mixes up the old and new on Kowabunga, but he doesn't play some of the groups on this site. I gave up on Live 365 because they ask for money more than PBS. (I didn't give up un Delvar, just Live 365) I wish there was a decent surf program/show that mixed up the old with the new. And before you say "Why dont you do it?" I dont have the collection of surf music to put a decent podcast together. I also have trouble enough with simple tasks on a computer. Thanks for the reponses. I'll check them out. |

Howdy! I'm new! Big Tiki Dude had been talking about this site, so I decided to join up. Anyhoo, I do play surf on my show. For those only interested in surf, I did an all surf show last year that can be downloaded here: http://www.bangcartoon.com/podcasts/spahnranch/rfb21.mp3 And here's the playlist: los tiki phantomsheavy surfer Radio Free Bakersfield--60 Minutes of TWANG, CRUNCH, OOMPH. |

Just listened to the SG101 podcast (episode 2) and it's great - very professional and the interview with Ferenc was very interesting. There's also some good surf podcasts at www.garagepunk.com. I haven't done it in a while, but I wonder if doing a search for "surf" in the podcast section of itunes would turn up anything? —Sean Surf CD's / Vinyl / Fanzines / DVD's |
