Permalink Slide Show on Philippine Band scene in the 60's

I wonder what happened to all those Fender guitars and amps. Drums too were a collection of vintage Premier, Ludwig, Gretch and Pearl. Premier was the favorite for drums then as Showman was for amps. In one of the photos is a not too well known echo unit in the states then but was popular everyplace else named SwissEcho. Some bands also used Binson Echorecs. Most of these bands started as garage bands but ended up performing internationally in the 60's. One band, the Rocky Fellers, scored a top twenty hit here in the states too. A song titled "Killer Joe'
