check out who I ran into at a party this past Sunday May 4th at MAXWELL's in Hoboken, NJ
I was there for a party for TWIG, a member of RICHARD & THE YOUNG LIONS, a 60's garage band, who have a new album coming out on LITTLE STEVEN's 'WICKED COOL' label
I brought LITTLE STEVEN up to date on what is going on with DAVIE ALLAN & THE ARROWS -- his playing with DUSTY + SAM, and their Xmas CD, #2, and the brand new MOVING RIGHT ALONG album....both coming out on LIFEGUARD and being distributed and marketed by SPINOUT RECORDS (and explained that EDDIE ANGEL is the owner of SPINOUT)
INSTRO-MENTAL!!

More than once I've gotten all excited when I'd hear him fire up a Preston Wayne song, only to have him start talking over it. Still a great radio show and he seems like a good guy. I forgive him.

I know Freddie is much to humble to mention that he finally met the ultimate insider-- a tireless promoter, bon vivant, MC, and DJ; a man who has done more for surf music than anyone else. Yes, of all the photo's in Freddie's album, Ladies and Gentlemen, the crown jewel:
I understand that the meeting was historic, the two have become best friends and will work together on some major surf music concerts. I wish them well!
((Freddie, keep up the great work, and have a great time doing it!))

Freddie,
Now you just need to get that autographed.
next time I track down this " tireless promoter, bon vivant, MC, and DJ" (Ferenc's words, not mine), I will surely ask him; though it is hard to keep up with the guy
