Permalink Border Town chords or tab?

I don't know why this tune is giving me so much trouble, its sounds rather simple but I have not been able to work it out. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

What parts - how far have you gotten? I've noticed a lot of similarities between "Border Town" and "Mexico" I used to play "border town" but it screwed with playing Mexico. this may not help you....

The chords are D, A, and G. if your playing just chords, hang on that "D" for about forever. Then "A", then "G"
Bridge is "A", and "G"

As for melody, it's all top two strings, simple chord formations - if you play an open, first position "D" chord, just the top 2 strings, thats one formation, the other is if you play a "D" chord on the 5th fret using just the top 2 strings - so 6th string on 5th fret, 5th string on 7th fret. move those around. A lot...

thanks Chris, ill mess around with it tomorrow and let you know. Yeah, you are right, it is similar to Mexico in a lot of ways.
