January Birthdays 
We had a preview of what the Toronto Surf Fest in June will look like last Saturday, when we played at the Silver Dollar. I had the pleasure to meet Mario, Dave and Neil of the Eradicators, who also played that night. The June fest will be a blast.
They had a great sound, Dave's got an amazingly nice looking bass and is definitely a cool dude on stage. Mario used his red Jaguar that night along with his blackface Vibrolux if I'm not mistaken. His sound was niiiiice and punchy. I was surprised at his Jag pickup switches setup though, I did not expect that. I believe their set was cut short though, but they obviously played some of their material, and the covers I recall were The Hearse, The Wedge, Misirlou.
Fans of traditional surf who will attend the June show will enjoy the Eradicators for sure. It was great meeting them, and I'm looking forward to do so again in June.
