Check it, tell me whatcha think.

the Hava Nagila part wasn't really planned, i only play that when my arm doesn't feel like falling off from the rest of the trem picking i play in the song, so that parts kinda rough.

i like how things are actually a lot faster than they feel when you are playing them...

I liked it! You three have a cool sound! But at the deep tones the guitar sounds a bit too thin, maybe too much reverb?

Nice. Thumbs Up Cool callbacks to all the other Dickster stuff. Plus, nice job on the high glissandos, like the one leading into the second verse. I always screw that one up.

:ot:Ben, surf glissandos are not musical and shouldn't be approached as such. They're expressions of joy that you're about to play more killer surf music. Much like many rock singers screaming "Yeeeeeaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!" So don't try to hear it, try to feel it.

Sailor,
I disagree, I think the Reverb is just fine,
I think its probably the kinda lofi recording, that makes it sound kinda thin in spots.

Yes, You seem to be right :).

yeah, the sound isn't GREAT seeing as it was recorded roughly from our show last night. we handed the sound guy our digital recorder and told him "here, plus this in after the mixers" so the mixing from what you hear isn't even mixed according to how it would sound recorded...but rather how he mixed it live, but it turned out really well! we tried the same thing before with the same sound guy but at a different venue and it didn't turn out well at all...

actually, that was someone from the crowd! the shows we play at there at the jamestown hall are always fun, and are always our biggest shows, but this one was packed! we were playing with a bunch of punk and hardcore bands, and practically all the kids were dancing and getting into it! of course it seems a lot of people come to see us, because we have quite a reputation there. i was the one doing the "hey"s during the hava naglia part though...could have made those a bit more enthusiastic sounding.
