. . .well, from me. It's in the demo section, and is called "Archi's
Adventures in Lo-Fi." (Read the description for what that might mean.)
Anyway, please listen to it and let me know what you think! And, as
always, be brutal--I can handle it!
Thanks!

Heh heh, thanks! That's the amazing thing about digital multi-track
recording--I can screw up a piece a gazillion times, and have it all
work out in the end. I don't think there's a single guitar part in that
whole piece that I didn't "do over" at least 20 times! (Well, the bass
part was done on a single take, oddly enough.)
I doubt very much I'd EVER be able to pull off any of that stuff live!

Mournblade, DITTO on what Serpico said, the tremelo effect was TASTEFULLY done, especially with it pulsating " 1-AND-2-AND-3-AND-4- and so on.
Very nice.
p.s. thanks again Serpico, I had to log back on to get to it. My 'puter burping all day long, which is getting to be frustrating......

Thank you!
I had a lot of fun writing and playing it. My wife, however, was about
ready to serve me with divorce papers, though. . . .

LOL!! I wander if your Wife knows mine. When I record using either HEAVY REVERB or some kind of Overdrive, sometimes I take it to the "next level" in which that can lead to a But that only lasts for a little while, then the next thing you know, Gotta say, it's never boring around here when
I want to knock it up a notch.....

All I know is, if I ever do a "proper" release of my music, I'm going to
dedicate it to my nine-year-old daughter, who ALWAYS says she likes
my music, no matter how lousy it may actually be.

I like that. I think (maybe because of the overall sound quality, effects, EQ, and the use of a non-Fender reverb) it has a definite 60s Japanese quality about it. Fun!

Yeah, I've got this thing about giant squids; Architeuthis dux is the Latin
name for it.
Oh, and fyi, there is an even LARGER squid, called the colossal squid,
which was dredged up on a New Zealand fishing vessel a little over
a year ago.
Damn creepy things!

Grrrrrreat!!!!! Sounds just like a vintage surf instrumental to me and I don't impress easy. I saw that collosal squid. Automobile tire sized calamari rings. 1 collosal squid could feed all of Tokyo!!!!
