Mr. O.T. is curious. What is the time signature of "Mir Rescue"? I suppose it's just 4/4, but I thought it seemed a bit odd counting it that way. Like it was really something else. 2/4? I was once briefly exposed to the orchestral snare in an attempt to improve my sense of rhythm, but it didn't take. I think the teacher asked my parents to withdraw me before I ruined the rest of the lot. |

My Russian wife who taught music in her native Russia for 30 years (classical piano & acoustic guitar) has been teaching me. When I can find someone here with similar music tastes, I think I'd maybe choose a band name like "Borscht Boys'" for a Russian surf band. |

Not the Dolgoboardniki? The only thing harder to say than borschtsch is schtschi, or maybe Merry Christmas. I forget how that goes, exactly, but I practiced it for hours fairly recently. To return the honors to Jeff, his mouth is definitely not open. It's the classic mutual pointing mugging shot with Sniper Matt. It's a nice tribute montage for sure. |
