Hi All,
I didn't receive any email of local Surf shows from Jeff Hanson for this coming weekend, so I thought I would tell you about the great L.A.
"PEDAL STEEL GUITAR" JAM this coming weekend March 1 and 2 at
"<u>Arco Iris</u>" restaurant, 5684 York Blvd in the Highland Park section of Los Angeles.
Some of the best L.A. Pedal Steel guitar pickers will be performing.
I have been invited by Mike Perlowin the promotor.
The event is free, but we can't use the Restaurant parking which is
only for people who have a lunch and only for an hour maximum.
It starts at around 11 AM, and there will be about 15 to 20 performers
taking turn with the band.
No doubt we' ll hear ... SLEEPWALK and maybe TEAR DROP (we' ll ask
for it if not).
I am thrilled at the idea as I really love Pedal Steel guitar. I wish I
had learned it instead of guitar.
Maybe I' ll see some of you there.
