Hey All,

Our new full length CD, "Bang Howdy Partner" is back from the manufacturers. It's not out until sometime next week, but I thought I'd offer it up here for those who would like a copy. The Surf Guitar101 special price is $12.00 for US and Canada, $15.00 for the rest , instead of the $15.00/ $17.00 it will be sold for when its officially released. This includes postage.

If you wanna Paypal, do so at surfkings@hotmail.com. Make sure you convert To CANADIAN DOLLARS first (you can do this on Paypal).

If you wanna send cash, check or money order, e mail me at surfkings@hotmail.com for the address.

Bang Howdy Partners,

The new release from Halifax-based instro-MeNTaL trio Urban Surf Kings is ready like a rodeo bull. This 15 song recording contains the surf youâve grown to love, along with a healthy dose of Spaghetti Western Twang thrown in the mix.

And speaking of recording, this oneâs done old-fashioned style, without all that fancy studio polish. Heck, the drums are in mono! Right up the centre. Right like surf & twang should be. Plus itâs mastered by surf legend Phil Dirt!

Including soon to be future hits like Muchos Diablos, Hrundi Goes West, and Rumble Ranchero, the new release is available February 2008. Hrundi Goes West may be the first surf meets India song ever recorded (then again, maybe not, but we havenât heard one).

Plus these songs feature some lap steel, and even a bit of Ukulele. Whatâs not to like?

He plays a LOT of surf if any of you have CD's out and would like airplay on a tiny little Island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean!! Ferenc sent me 3 PDM CD's after visiting Kauai and Conrad stole them for his radio show!! I've asked for them back many times but he just shines me. Sad thing is...i never heard them!! He says he plays them a lot on his show but i work Monday nights with another group and have never heard them. Oh well.
You can send me "promo" stuff and i'll give it to him to play.

I have always been a big fan of USK's, and they have done it again with the release of Bang Howdy Partners!!!
If you like twang, spaghetti induced, and just plain ole great surf music, then you will LOVE this new release as I do
