I am really enamored with her so I though I'd share this video. In my opinion it is the finest television performance I've ever seen. Sorry if you don't like it... It isn't for everyone. And if not and you have a daughter you should get her one of Feist's CDs. Classy female musician role model.

I think she looks absolutely stunning in this video. I really want a Starfire now.

I saw Feist on Mojo HD a few weeks back. They were featured on that show London Live. My 11 month old kid went nuts over the singer.

That performance wasn't very good. I was disappointed with it. Normally she has a rag tab choir doing backing vocals on it.
I hate the London Live hosts.

Good stuff, Jake. I'm a huge Feist fan as well.
I'll also admit to having an unabashed crush on Ingrid Michaelson - she's pretty much doing similar stuff musically...

Ingrid is a cutie. I love her "If you are chilly here take my sweater song" In my opinion that is a killer lyric.
Anybody want to see a great indie film? Juno was amazing. From the direction of my favorite 2006 film, Thank You For Smoking. I'm in love with Ellen Page now.

I second that movie recommendation. I'm anxiously awaiting the DVD release.
I also second thinking that Ellen Page is a major cutie.

funny you should say that, I just bought my 4yr old daughter the new Anouk cd. she'd said when she grows up she wanted to be a mother or a singer, I bought her the cd as proof you can be both (Anouk is a mother to three).
fwiw, I never heard of "Feist" but I just listened to a bunch of clips form youtube. I like most of it, some really good stuff, yet the clip you posted I really really dislike. I really detest the bambi-effect child voice she puts on, yet she doesnt in other clips ![Question Question](/media/smiley/images/icon_question.gif)

I really like listening to Feist while I'm driving for some reason. I just listened to some clips of Ingrid Michaelson, too. Good stuff.
Jake, Bill, you guys are a pretty good go-to source for good indie music. I thank you, kind sirs.
Also, I still need to see Juno. I've heard nothing but good things about it.

Thanks for the compliment Jon. And yes, you have to see Juno -- I can pretty safely assure that you'll go crazy for it.

Has anyone noticed that I'm really bad with the "tenses" I use when I type? I will never notice it until I reread a post. One of my teachers says it is almost dyslexic. I think it is chemo caused.
Anyways, on topic. I watched Juno a second time last night.

Indie Guitar 101: Where you can learn how to cop a really disaffected pose while aimlessly thwacking away at the open strings.
