http://www.goofspot.com/bamboo/features/ftrc0004.htm hey that is amazing! more about The You Know Who Group: http://www.answers.com/topic/the-you-know-who-group?cat=entertainment around that time The 4 Seasons also recorded under the pseudonym THE WONDER WHO? from WIKIPEDIA: The Wonder Who? was a nom de disc of The Four Seasons for four single records released in 1965 and 1966. It was one of a handful of "names" used by the group at that time, including Frankie Valli (as a "solo" artist even though the Four Seasons were present on the record) and The Valli Boys. Wonder Who? recordings generally feature the falsetto singing by Valli, but with a softer falsetto than is typical than on "typical" Four Seasons recordings Their version of the DYLAN tune 'DON'T THINK TWICE' actually made it to #12 in Billboard! and don't go confusing either of these groups - THE YOU KNOW WHO GROUP and THE WONDER WHO -- with THE GUESS WHO, THE WHO, THEM, or THE CAFE WHA? in NYC, if possible UNSTEADY FREDDIE p.s. I really enjoyed learning about this...thx! — |

This album cover was on the wall of a record shop in Portland (for way too much money) back when the PS came out, plus it is in that 1000 Record Album Covers book put out by Taschen. We saw the PS quite a bit back then and I'm not ashamed to admit that we were like "well, they took the masks, so we'll take the capes". —http://www.satanspilgrims.com |

There was a Dutch band called "ZZ en de Maskers" (ZZ and the Masks) who were getting around looking like that, from 1963 onwards. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vfGQTSJQaZU They had some cool Shadows-y instrumentals too. — |
