The date is 2/9/08 and the venue is the Zen Bar in Farmington, CT. This is a four band show and 3 have already signed on: The Truckstop Playboys (rockabilly -CT), The Octomen (surf-NY) and the Blind Pharaohs (kuntry punk-NYC).

I'd like one more surf band Guitar to fill out the night. The bands split the door and the raffle. This will be my third show at the Zen Bar. So far no one has been disappointed, not the bands, the audience, or the club.

Hit me up on My Space(www.myspace.com/bluestingraye) or by e-mail at thestingraye@comcast.net.

Time is of the essence as the press releases and posters need to go out yesterday!

While I haven't been to one of these yet (and hopefully I'll be at this one), I can vouch that these are a big hit and well worth playing. The DJ after me was going bananas telling me how much fun he had at the first one (I was out of town for the 2nd)

Good luck, Blue. I'll make sure to promote it next time I hit the airwaves.

Thanks a bunch for the kind words! I actually booked the last spot with a local CT band, The Clams with the ever popular Clamdiggers! The full line up is:
The Clams
Truckstop Playboys
The Octomen
Blind Pharoahs

This is a special show as I have dedicated to the memory of John "Pops" Senese, father of Rattlesnake Ralph of The Octomen, who passed away on Dec. 27, 2007.

See you there!

Aloha,
Blue StingRaye
