Fez - Thanks so much for the plug! We really appreciate you including us in this thread. The CD is done and off for duplication. We've had a blast digging into the Surf style...it's quickly becoming a dominant part of our identity. Who knew?!? I'll post some clips and ordering info asap. Thanks again! Josh |

The Intoxicators! played a show on September 9th at The Jetsetter Lounge in Lake Worth, Florida... We played three sets... and then after George and Adam had packed up most of their gear the club owner wanted us to play some more... This was at about 3AM... That's "Butch" from the Cavefish on guitar... Brian of The Intoxicators! (Fez) on drums... So after we finished playing we were talking about relocating "Butch" to Tallahassee... and it turns out that the guy not only lived in the same town as me growing up... (he went to the rival school of the high school that I attended) but he works for the same place that I do... but in a different part of the state... It's a small small surfin' world... Crazy |

Damn, Jet - I had no idea you were in town for the Hukilau! Yeah - I was there at the Bahia Mar for the main event on Friday, and like Fez said, I had to miss Saturday night's festivities. Sunday was a blast though (although it should be noted: too many Red Bull/vodka combos don't mix ery well with impromptu double picking |

Yeah- I was talked into it at the very last second. I was on the fence for months...and got a last minute twist of the arm. Pretty much bought my plane tickets 48 hours before (and came down without hotel or tickets to any of the festivities). All worked out though. Unfortunately had to miss Sunday. I do plan on being down some time in early '07 and will try to coordinate it so I am there when there are some shows. not one of these shows has lined up with my week down here but i've found out that the danny morris band is playing at ron jon surf shop in cocoa beach, friday the 29th from noon to 7. (check out his website dannymorrisband.com for all his shows) i will be driving through there and will check it out. at least my florida surf experience won't be a total washout. — |

it was a pleasure as usual to hear the danny morris band yesterday here in sunny florida. he is one fine guitar player and has great tone. he doesn't do all surf, but mixes a lot of it in to his sets. he's also very approachable and really does surf. that being said i saw him at RON JON if you're ever down this way the danny morris band is always playing somewhere. stop in and give them a listen. carol — |
