Just came across this footage of our favorite professor showing the left coasters how it's done:

Thanks Danny. I always love to see Ivan play as he is probably the most important influence to myself and the principle songwriter of the 'Verb.
Danny, on a sidenote, I have never told you but I got your EP while on tour and I really dig it. We may be thinking about something in June in San Fran. We hope to tour San Fran, LA, and big cities in Nevada and Arizona.

Thanks Jake, glad you like both the video and EP. I too cite Ivan and his bandmates as sterling examples in how to do it right in the 21st century.
We hope to hit the studio again beginning next year. Dare I dream that The Madeira might hit the coast this summer too? In any case, lets keep in touch. In fact , let's start a thread about it.

Absolutely amazing, I can't say enough kind words about this performance. The pure power of the Madeira must be witnessed live! Please come out to SF again.

That was my first ever surf concert. To say that I was excited, and that the show was great, is a flagrant understatement. It was even my sister's birthday that day and I ditched her to go see the Madeira kill. She was pissed. It was worth it.
