I've wanted something from there since I visited as a kid years ago.
Moved to the west coast, just went there today... Wow the rudeness. Their guitars are finished with what looks like brushed on house paint (neck included).
Their website is "10 years out of date" (a quote from an employee) so forget finding something you saw advertised on that site. The same guy sneered at being asked about surf guitars and said something about "dick dale wannabes." Are you kidding me? To a customer?

Fat dog himself spends more time loudly fighting with his employees than helping customers.

I wouldn't accept something from them for free.
