I have not noticed a difference, but is there a text book way of setting up?

Pedals=Tone-sucking Horror boxes. I'd put 'em after the speaker, myself. My own biases aside, while the "proper" way depends on the effect(s) used, generally the effects are before the reverb tank. |

I don't know about textbook, but mine goes guitar...>pedals...>tank...>amp. I tried putting the stompoxes on the other side of the tank in the chain before, and it was essentially a wall of noise (and not in a god way). I'd be curious to hear from folks who do it that way, though. — |

Mike, what do you mean? You put it through an FX Loop? |

Most pedals belong before the tank. A clean solo boost works after the tank (because before the tank it might overdrive it). Ran — |

Actually, I meant to type "not in a Zod way." "Come to ME, reverb. I defy you! KNEEEL before KeeeeeeeeeeeeRRRAAAAAANGGGGG" |

lol! Sorry, I was being a wiseass when I said I'd put them AFTER the speaker. Meaning they wouldn't be in the audio chain at all. |
