i hope this isn't a stupid question (sorry if it is) i've been listening to the fathoms tune 'fathomless' and there's a lot of reverb in the bass. is this played through a reverb unit? if so, is this the same unit as for a guitar?

No I don't think the bass is plugged into any Reverb tank, the reverb you are hearing must be studio verb digital or analog to enhance the vibe of the song, but the wet reverb you are hearing is from 2 guitar's, I wouldn't recomend bass through a reverb tank, surf bass should be a nice solid back bone with drums and leave the reverb tank's to the guitars Cheers —-Kyle Beyond The Surf YouTube channel |
