Glad to see the drummers express some enthusiasm for discussion in the forums. There are many other choices for Drum sites with discussion forums on the web, but Surf is virtually non-existent out there.
I would like to suggest a "Surf Drummer" section be added to the Surf Music forum area.
Thanks for all you do for us!

I'm in. Drums have a very prominent role in surf music. Given this it's shocking how little there is on the subject. Let's do it!

I'm not a drummer, but I'd like to learn more. But why not just post in the "Surf Musician" section?

The consensus I got via PM and email was that the drummers that are here are happy to just post in surf musician or gear as appropriate. But I'd be glad to entertain any other opinions.

"separate but equal" went away when Plessy v Ferguson was in effect overtuned by SCOTUS in 1954. Let the drummers be a part of the community at large - we don't need a separat forum...

Surf Drummers can have their own forums if they admit they are not surf musicians.

Jake,
You gave me a good laugh on an afternoon when I truly needed one. Thanks!
