Naomi Kavka also plays in a great surf band called Pitted, although I didn’t get them this year. Rick White and the Sadies played a tribute to Dallas show, and there is a live lp of the performance coming out in the next week or so. They still work as 3 piece, and Travis plays some mean guitar. I first got hip to the Sadies when Shadowy Men On a Shadowy Planet opened for them on their tour in - christ, 2015. I went to see Shadowy Men, and glad I stayed for the Sadies. Only later I realized how special that show was. Top
