Hello all, I have been listening to some very slow music recently, Funeral Doom such as Mournful Congregation and Ahab, and Jazz Noir such as Bohren & der Club of Gore. This got me wondering if there is any very slow and dark surf music? bonus if it's an underground/indie artist.

Thee Orbits
I have Aqua Velvets Guitar Noir and Vanduras In the Dark as mentioned.
It's funny. I seem to be developing a style of playing that I can only call
Smooth Surf Jazz'
I get zoned out and mix it up and that's what unfolds.

Jimmy Wilsey’s El Dorado. Hands down one of the best IMHO.

Rev Willis would like to add his blessing to the El Dorado recommendation. A great example of what I would describe as Southwestern Desert Noir. The CD is difficult to find, but can be streamed on Apple Music and I suspect other services as well.

We released Tumbleweed Tide recently which is more of an acoustic album of western and mellow instrumentals.
