Hey everyone!
I have decided to sell my 2003 Fender Jaguar '62 AVRI. It's in the hard to come by Sherwood Green color, w/ OHSC, case candy & a few Wronski mods as spec'd by the man himself! All original parts still included if you want to revert.
Mods are: CTS 250k pot, CTS 280k super pot, Vintage RS paper-in-oil cap .022, and CRL 3 way switch w/ custom plate.
Sounds fantastic as expected, plays beautifully.
You can see a couple of things in the pics:
1) a miniscule ding in the back of the neck that is really too sall to even feel
2) my reaction to playing dark stages with failing old guy eyesight: some more visible fret markers at the top of the neck binding! Doesn't affect playability at all - just way better for navigating during live action on the small, dimly lit stages we all tend to play on!
Does it have good mojo? Well, this guitar even made it on to the stage at Surfer Joe back in '18 - doesn't get any better than that.
Anyway - lising it HERE FIRST : ) Would love to see it go to one of you.
Reverb prices these between $2200-3000. This is a rare color and goes for the upper end of that, but, all things considered and with respect to this group of aficionados, I'd be happy with say $2400 + shipping.
