Permalink SOLD - FS: 1996 MIJ Jaguar 50th Anniversary Edition

I'm making the difficult decision to part with my beloved 1996 Jaguar. Doing some deep spring cleaning and truth be told I have been neglecting this wonderful guitar in favor of my jazzmaster. Meanwhile, I need to put some funds into other interests so my loss may be your gain.

This guitar was initially set up at Mike and Mike's Guitar Bar in Seattle. All of the electronics have been replaced with vintage spec/NOS parts. All switches are smooth and quiet. The strangle switch is audibly intense (was not the case initially). Pickups are now Pure Vintage '65s. Staytrem bridge, collet, and trem bar. Upgraded black pickguard. Trem replaced with AVRI unit. Includes mute, uninstalled. Nut filed and guitar set up for and strung with Pyramid 13s. I've done everything possible to bring this up to top standards along the lines of an AVRI. Neck and frets feel great.

The finish is in almost immaculate condition aside from two tiny pinpoint dings, one on front and one on back.

Includes Fender hard case.

Asking 1399 + 100 shipping in the USA (or pickup in Seattle area) on a big online seller site, but will entertain offers here for a reasonable SG101 discount.

More pics available upon request.
