Good evening all,
I just purchased a SB v2.1 and my understanding is that the v1 was pretty close to a 1:1 copy of the 6G15 except solid state. What exact changes were made between the v1 and v2.1, ie, what improvements did they make upon the original 6G15?

I just got the newer v3.0 a few days ago.
Really impressive.
The pans are different than the 2.0, but both are Accutronics.

Hi Christopher,
Here are the updates that were implemented on the SurfyBear Metal 2.1. (The above video is about the SurfyBear Classic, so does not apply to your question).
- improved DC jack
- takes any polarity
- improved sound when using the SurfyDrip Switch
If you're asking about any changes or improvements to the 6g15 circuit, there are none. How can you improve upon Leo Fender's perfect circuit?
