I know that event's are supposed to be subbmitted to the events/reviews area, but this topic need a bit of discussin, and possibly a place to rsvp below for me to know how many will be attending.
So here in So. Cal . is this old Seafood Place Called Sam's in Sunset Beach. It'sa the place on PCH with the huge blue Neon sign of a swordfish.
Anyways inside is a way cool Hawiian area for the main dining room, it has a cool Bamboo bar off to the side, and then way in the back is a seperat bamoo tiki village. I have been to a few B-day parties and cd release partys there. It's way cool. Anyways it's closing down on June 4th. So on the Tiki central forum a few of us decided we need to have a big goodbye event for this place closing down. There is going to be dinner, and 2 bands. on e surf( Glasgow Tiki Shakers) and one Hawiian,( The smokin Menahunes).
If anybody here is interested in attending this it is open to more than just the tiki crowd, and we welcome frinds and familys too.
So the cost is being figured out, we are thinking around $30 per person.
But if we get enough people it might come down to 25 or even 20. But we need to pay for food, room, and bands.
Please post and rsvp here or PM me
time is still in the works, but will probably be 6 pm to 12 or later.
thanks Jeff(bigtikidude)

I'm thinking about it. I'm not sure if I want to spend $30 only to take off and go to that Volcanics show later on. If the price improves, maybe.

I'll be there. I am pretty sure GTS are worth the price of admission. Make sure the beer is cold and the reverb dripping.
