I watched my Surf Coasters DVD yesterday and I had to dig up my Eleki mp3s/albums on my computer today. Really great stuff. |

That's a great clip (it has been posted before but definitely worth seeing more than once). BTW, it's Yuzo Kayama on lead guitar and Terauchi on rhythm. However, I don't think the latter had anything to do with the song besides acting on it in the movie. Check out this thread in the general forum for more inspiring eleki stuff. — |

Great vid. I've also been listening to a ton of Takeshi Terauchi: "Let's Go Eleki-Bushi" as well as "Blue Jeans". "Variations on the Gypsy Themes" and "Rassemon" are two of my favs. —Ryan |

The song is Black Sand Beach, which, as far as my limited Eleki knowledge allows me to say, is a Yuzo Kayama song. |

Another clip from the same movie with Yuzo and Terry doing "Yosora No Hoshi". A shorter version of this clip used to be up on YouTube in higher quality but has since been removed. |

'yosora no hoshi', this time with the ventures and then kayama yuzo. this is one of my favorite lesser known ventures recordings. i'd never heard any other version until tonight. |

I've always wondered if the Phantom Surfers sang that phonetically. —Site dude - S3 Agent #202 "It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea |
