The first O.C.S.N. is set for Oct. 19th with three great bands! Come to Lincoln City for the night or the weekend for great music...and the beach! If you want to be a part of a O.C.S.N. in the future let me know.

thats very cool.
but isn't is kinda late in the year to be doing coastal shows in Oregon?
Like how cold is it gonna be?

not that im gonna be there,
just trying to figure out why these didn't start in May?????
instead of next month.

There are many good things about the Oregon Coast during the Fall/Winter months, great storm watching! The plan for the future is to do 2-3 of these shows during the winter then one show a month May-Sept. I would of loved to do these shows this summer, I was just to busy to get it going until now.

That looks awesome TJ, good work promoting the surf!
We'll definitely be down for a show once our bass player gets back from California the end of October.

We will be playing outdoors at the last outdoor Eugene Saturday Market on November 10th, we've been the last band to play the outdoor market for about 5 years now. Something about watching a bunch of middle-aged geezers in Hawaiian shirts (okay, insulated coveralls...) freezing their fingers off seems to be quite entertaining for some reason. Not once has it rained while we've been onstage outdoors though, so we've got that going for us.

This year I'll have a propane heater, heh heh heh.

Any word on who the "guests" at Duff's is going to be?
I'll be at the Woggles/Romanes show on Thursday, then at the "Rose City Surf Party" on Saturday. See you there!

TJ I just got a phone call today from Jon Wallace owner of Duff's Garage and he asked if The Verbtones would like to join the surf night on 10/20 with you guys and The Mighty Surf Lords

We are in Socal from10/11 through 10/18 the week before on a short tour so we'll be back in time for the surf night on 10/20.

Man it was packed or it was the 102 temp I had that night the place was packed I thought, your talking about that surf night with The church of surf right? no kidin' about the 102 temp when it comes to surf I can be sicker then a dog I'll be there!!! man that's the 2nd show I have had a temp and being sick crazy huh

Yeah, I remember the glazed over look you had that night, but it wasn't just your 102 temp. The place was shoulder to shoulder, spill more of your drink than actually drink crowded. Should be the same this time.....! No fever though.
