Looking for folks interested in surf instros and maybe jamming a bit. I'm 42 and have laid off the guitar for several years, but am trying to get back into it. You know, the wife and family thing going on. I've been in a few bands, but none of them were pure surf stuff. That's what I'm looking for.
I'm in the northern Davis County area (Clearfield) so I may be somewhat limited in travel.
Mike

Either you surf, or you fight.

I just moved from Utah a year ago, but there was someone on this site that lives in the Provo area. Put "utah" into the forum search engine.

Kevin

I live in provo although I have no clue where clearfield is, I have heard of it but other wise not so much.

Thats bit of a distance.

I live in SLC. A friend (drummer) and I play a couple of times a month.

Ed

I'm in Utah, SLC more specifically. Look for a group called Boomsticks playing around town. They do a decent job of playing surf music, perhaps you could jam with them. Otherwise, not much surf music happening. Now and then the Mermen make it through town, but that hasn't happened in a while.
