NGD : Fender Classic Player 60’s in Sonic Blue (although it kinda looks white in the photo)
This is my first Fender (technically my second but the first one wasn’t very good and I hocked it )and I’m really diggin it!
I dont know what it is , but it definitely feels more premium than a Squier , everything is just a bit smoother, solid and heavy.
The pickups are really nice — the bridge pu especially is really bright , which is exactly what I want in a bridge pu.
I might be imagining it , but the pu’s might be a bit low volume?
I plan on swapping out the pickguard for an aged pearlized mint green one and having a toggle switch added in order to engage the bridge and neck pu at the same time.

Looks great! If the pickups sound good to you, I wouldn't worry about whether they seem to be a bit low in volume. You could raise the pickups up a bit to compensate or just turn up your amp. Some people are too eager to get high output pickups, but I find that constrains the range of sounds you get from them because they are overdriven much more easily.

That’s a really good point you bring up about high output pu’s being overdriven…
Ive only been playing seriously for 4 years and still learning about the instrument and the technology…
Would a booster pedal give me more volume? Or should I just have the pu’s raised?

You can raise the pickups yourself using a small philips head screwdriver. Turning the screws clockwise will raise the pickup closer to the strings.
And yes, you could use a booster pedal or even a compressor pedal to boost output. Some overdrive pedals can also work as a booster. The main question is why you need the pickups to give more volume - in my mind, it's only an issue if you are maxing out your amp and need more volume or if you are try to push an amp into overdrive at lower volume. Otherwise, I'd just turn up my amp.
