Talk about your plug-and-play Jazzmaster upgrade! Well, mostly plug-and-play. You will have to solder ONE WIRE: the chassis ground. That's it!

This combination was installed in my backup JM, which is going up for sale soon, so it has seen a few hours of play time, maybe 10 total. Retail value (new) of over $400. For sale here to my SG101 friends for $300 shipped* in the lower 48 via USPS Priority Mail. (Add 3% for PayPal G&S; i.e., $309 total.)

Pickguard by Decoboom! This "Streamline" model has been lightly modified to move the pickup switch to a position where it can be toggled up and down (like a Les Paul) instead of forward and backward (like a regular Jazzmaster). Carefully and fully shielded with conductive copper tape.

Pickups by Sunday Handwound! A nicely matched pair of Fat 52s, which is Sunday HW's alnico 5/2 combo. Not too hot, not too mellow, solid lows, clear highs with no ice-picky-ness at all. Stunningly perfect in both tone and balance. (No covers included.)

Wiring Harness by Gunstreet! This is their "Green" harness, which means it has a treble bleed on the lead circuit. The rhythm circuit is not affected by the treble bleed. High quality work here, folks, and all you have to do is supply a pair of knobs for the solid shaft pots and you're off to the races.

  • Shipping beyond the CONUS will cost a little more, we can discuss it. Import duties are your responsibility. Parts value will be listed for exactly what the package is insured at to protect us both.
