This is THE classic, aggressive four-string bass heard around the world on tracks in every genre. There’s not really much I can add to that in the way of description!
This specific US-made Stingray bass is in excellent condition, with a few light marks gained over its 20-year life so far. The original pickguard is included. This beautiful deep blue bass weighs 10.4 pounds and sports a solid ash body, maple neck, maple fretboard and stock electronics, including the humbucker pickup and EB’s active 3-band EQ, all of which are in perfect working condition, plus Dunlop strap buttons. Currently strung with D’Addario half rounds, it sounds every bit like a Stingray should. The bass comes with Ernie Ball’s branded, rectangular ABS hard case.
For those of you interested in these kinds of things, this is the bass I used on 5 of the 6 tracks on my debut EP (link below). I find myself now with three basses, which in a lot of ways is two too many for a guitar player. I've decided to keep the P Bass over this one. Hard decision.
No trades will be accepted. Cash price is $1,600 with free delivery within 60 miles of Richmond, VA. Shipping, if needed, is additional and will cover box, padding and UPS fees. Keep in mind this is a full-size electric bass in a hard case, so the box will be big and weight will be more than a smaller electric guitar.
